The project

A shared space for contemporary art, bringing together artists from around the world

Atelier Quindici was not conceived as a simple digital archive nor as a commercial platform, but as an international project dedicated to the research, promotion, and dissemination of contemporary art through a rigorous selection and an independent cultural vision.

The project has two venues: one in Venice, within the historic Palazzo Zaguri, a prestigious eighteenth-century building located in the San Marco district, and one in Milan, at ArTheoria, in the central area of Corso Buenos Aires. These spaces represent the first operational centers of Atelier Quindici and constitute the starting point of a program intended to develop progressively through the opening of new venues in different international contexts, in keeping with the global nature of the initiative.

Atelier Quindici is founded on the principle that quality cannot be measured by quantity. Each artist has been selected for the strength of their visual language, the coherence of their research, and their ability to express an authentic and universal vision. Only fifteen artists, originating from different cultural regions of the world, form the core of the project, giving rise to a dialogue that brings together experiences, sensibilities, and artistic trajectories of the highest level.

The selection and development of the project are guided by Andrea Benetti, founder and curator of Atelier Quindici, who collaborates with art critics, art historians, and international curators. Each artist is presented through a dedicated space, where biography, artworks, and critical texts contribute to conveying the complexity and significance of their artistic research.

Atelier Quindici positions itself as an independent cultural reality operating simultaneously in both digital and physical spaces, with the objective of creating new opportunities for encounter, dialogue, and project development. The Venetian headquarters represents the first step in a broader path aimed at establishing an international network of spaces dedicated to contemporary art, fostering collaboration among artists, institutions, and cultural contexts across different parts of the world.

The project is open to collaborations with museums, foundations, cultural institutions, and public and private entities that share the objective of promoting and supporting contemporary artistic research on an international scale.
